Youghal Credit Union

Youghal Credit Union provides services to our members including affordable lending, savings and the promotion of thrift. We strive to deliver the best possible service at all times. Directors have the opportunity to develop skills in areas such as strategic planning, financial management and risk management. We aim to have a diverse board and have requirements in areas such as asset management, investment/market risk and credit control. We are also interested in meeting volunteers who have experience in administration or underwriting or people who would be interested in volunteering at committee level.

Our credit union serves a large area in East Cork, including Youghal town and the surrounding villages and townlands, from Killeagh to Ardmore and everywhere in between. We hold meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7.30pm. The board is made up of members of Youghal Credit Union, elected at the AGM, and is responsible for the general control and direction of the credit union. Directors ensure that the credit union is well run and governed effectively on behalf of our members.
