YouCan Cancer Support Network Ireland

YouCan Cancer Support Network Ireland is a  national charity that has been in operation since 2015. Our focus is to provide support to people diagnosed with cancer in their 20s - 40s.  People diagnosed in this age group have different support needs than those younger and older.  Particular things include information and support regarding fertility, finances and relationships.

Board members do not need to be from any particular geographical area or county.

Our aims are as follows:

• to provide a nationwide support system for young adults with cancer
• to advocate for consistent and age appropriate respectful care that supports the young adult with a cancer diagnosis
• to educate the public and medical profession on the experiences of the young adult with cancer.

Our office address is in County Dublin but our activities are national and currently, primarily online through social media including a private Facebook Forum.
