St. Michael’s House Group is located in the Dublin area and has provided services to people with an intellectual disability since 1955.

To support individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their potential and live as independently as possible in ordinary places in the community connected to natural support networks.
St. Michael’s House is a member of the St. Michael’s House Group and is a Section 38 body under the Health Act 2004. It had a turnover of €101.6m in 2018 and its primary sources of revenue funding were the Health Service Executive and the Department of Education and Skills. All activity of St. Michael’s House is underpinned by its vision, mission and values and all income is applied solely towards the provision of services and supports for people with intellectual disabilities.
There are over 1,900 service users supported by 1,450 WTE staff. Services provided include residential, respite, day and clinic services. St. Michael’s House is the patron of six special national schools.
St. Michael’s House Housing Association is also a member of the St. Michael's House Group and is an Approved Housing Body which provides housing supports for people with an intellectual disability. It is a Tier 3 Body which is signed up to the Voluntary Code for Housing Regulation.
