Not-For-Profit Information

Safe Haven Ireland is a charitable organisation with twin aims: integration and youth development. We promote integration between communities in Ireland and empower disadvantaged young people at risk of social exclusion through the medium of sail training.

We recruit young people from a variety of backgrounds to take part in sailing voyages  and sailing courses along the Irish coastline. We prioritise the inclusion of ethnic minority communities, such as refugees and migrants, and Irish young people from disadvantaged areas, such as inner cities. Since our inception in 2015 we have enabled the participation of more than 200 young people.
