Dara Residential Services t/a Dara supports adults with an intellectual disability to live an ordinary life in their community.

We do this by working with the individual, their family,  support staff and other community members.

Dara  currently supports thirty people who live in ordinary houses in the community, including two people who are supported to live in their family home. The services are based mainly in North Kildare and North Dublin. 

Dara provides a respite service in the Celbridge area in an ordinary community house.

Dara also hosts Dara Possibilities, a service model that designs and co manages individualised service arrangements for people with individualised funding from their own homes in line with the H.S.E. New Directions policy. 

Dara provides employment supports and training and receives funding from the Department of Social Protection via Pobal for the 'Dara Workability Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme'.
