General Trustee

This is an unpaid voluntary role.

Youth Work Ireland Meath is seeking a General Trustee. The Board are particularly interested in individuals with recent and relevant experience in the Not-For-Profit sector and/or knowledge of the youth sector. If you have experience in this area and want to play a role in Youth Work Ireland Meath, we’re keen to hear from you. 

Responsibilities will include the following:  

• Providing input to the strategic direction of Youth Work Ireland Meath and contributing with insight, oversight, and experience of strategy formulation in the youth sector.

• Policy formation and implementation as required  

Skills/Qualities required for this role:  

• A deep appreciation and knowledge of the Not-For-Profit and Youth sector

• An understanding of and commitment to our mission and values

• Commitment to highest levels of corporate governance  

Board Meetings:  There will be 8 board meetings and sub-committee meetings a year. Meetings are held in Navan or online on the first Saturday of the month
