Director - Lucan area

We are actively seeking volunteers from our membership to serve on our Board and Board Oversight Committee.  If you live or work in Lucan/Adamstown you are eligible to join our credit union and to volunteer some time to help govern our credit union.

These roles are voluntary and require attendance at the monthly Board meeting, the reading of documents in advance of the meeting and attendance at our AGM.  The expected time commitment is 6 hours per month which includes mandatory training.  If you volunteer to serve on a Board committee additional hours may be required.

Although these roles are voluntary we do have an education programme in place for volunteers whereby the credit union will pay for a range of relevant courses so you could gain a qualification while you serve.  In addition, volunteers will gain valuable experience in corporate governance of a large member-based organisation.  All of which will enhance your CV and raise your profile on Linkedin etc.

We would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in volunteering.  You would initially be placed on a panel from which we can draw to fill vacancies as they arise during the year on our Board and Board Oversight committee.
