Lucan District Credit Union was founded in 1968 as a not-for-profit organisation. We exist solely to meet the financial needs of our members and to provide members with access to credit and a secure place to save. Our philopsophy and ethos is to encourage people in our community to save and we lend that money back into the community. As our members thrive, so will our community. Members also govern our credit union by volunteering to serve on our Board or Board Oversight Committee.

We currently have 16,000 members and €72m in member assets under management.
