Youth Work Ireland Monaghan is an independent organisation affiliated to Youth Work Ireland. Established in 1985, Youth Work Ireland Monaghan is a youth development organisation supporting young people in County Monaghan through informal educational programmes and voluntary club support.
Youth Work Ireland Monaghans' mission is through our work an programmes we aim to assist young people to improve their lives by providing access to self development opportunities, information and advice, and services for young people aged 8-25 in county Monaghan, thereby promoting and encouraging an acceptance, respect, and tolerance for ones self and others without stigma, discrimination, bias or labeling.
Youth Work Ireland Monaghan(YWIM) operate a youth information service in Castleblayney and Carrickmacross and facilitate clinics in various locations throughout Co. Monaghan on a monthly basis. YWIM run a youth cafe in Castleblayney and Clones and are currently involved in the development of a new youth cafe in Carrickmacross. YWIM also support two Early School Leaver Projects in Our Lady's Seconadary School Castleblayney and Castleblayney Community College.
