Waterford & South Tipperary Community Youth Service (W.S.T.C.Y.S.) is a large voluntary organisation operating in the South East. With over 80 staff and reaching as many as 12,000 service users annually including young people – the organisation delivers its work in partnership with over 300 local volunteers. W.S.T.C.Y.S. is a Company Limited by Guarantee and is managed by a voluntary Board of 12 members and a Senior Management Team of a C.E.O. and three managers. W.S.T.C.Y.S. holds a portfolio of 15 building out in the community, 12 of which were purpose built by the organisation. The organisations programmes and services are funded by multiple agencies including the H.S.E., D.J.E. and D.C.Y.A.

Our mission is to develop community and centre based responses relevant to the needs identified by young people themselves, their families and community, thereby improving young peoples quality of life. WSTCYS delivers an integrated youth service at community level through four main strands of work: Community Youth Work; Youth Justice Projects; A range of community based drugs initiatives and outreach drugs projects; and through volunteer led Youth Clubs dispersed throughout the catchment area.
