Tullow Day Care Centre CLG

Tullow Day Care Centre is an independent, stand-alone Centre for the elderly, the lonely and those living alone.

The mission of Tullow Day Care Centre CLG:

To promote the physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being of the Senior Citizens of Tullow and the surrounding areas.

To maintain the dignity of the person in his/her third age while living at home, instead of in care.

To help the elderly share in & contribute to the community. 

To provide a confidential listening and befriending service.

Our values are dedication, loyalty, honesty, generosity and a caring attitude towards the elderly, the lonely and the housebound.

The service we provide are:

Transport to and from the Centre and to Doctors appointments.  Meals in the Centre, meals on wheels, laundry, hairdressing, chiropody services, personal care, social activities, annual holiday, parties, music, dancing, bingo, card playing, go-for-life activities, exercises, chair yoga, art, food cloud, FEAD and food hub.  A befriending service to help with the additional care for the elderly client while in the Centre.

All these services have an extremely positive impact on the elderly client and Tullow Day Care Centre is described as a home from home.
