Tivoli Training Centre

Tivoli Training Centre offers Education and Training opportunities to adults and young people referred by the Probation service. Tivoli aims to provide services rooted in strong offender relationships and focussed on their desistance from crime and their re-engagement with society. Tivoli clients come from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown and the wider South Dublin / North Wicklow area.

Tivoli Training Centre operates a non-judgemental and unbiased service. The ethos of the Centre is anchored in the strength-based approach, which focuses on further developing our client’s strengths and abilities.

Tivoli aims to build strong relationships with our clients; relationships of trust and respect. We believe that the most significant impact will be achieved through genuine relationship and community.

We seek to be client-centred; taking our client’s needs, plans and aspirations and abilities into account and tailoring our activities, wherever possible, to suit them.

Tivoli also seeks to be restorative; We aim to rebuild relationship and communication where they break down and we help our clients to rebuild relationships with their communities. When issues arise, we seek to deal with these in a restorative (rather than punitive) manner.

We aim to provide a holistic service, recognising that our clients have needs and talents that go beyond the scope of a standard education. We seek a safe environment for clients to examine and develop in all areas of their life.
