An Taisce, The National Trust for Ireland

An Taisce is a membership based charity, open to everyone, that works to preserve and protect Ireland's natural and built heritage. We are an independent voice for the environment and for heritage issues. Our work focuses on three areas:

Advocacy: Promoting the conservation of Ireland's nature, biodiversity, and built heritage.

Properties: We hold a range of properties in trust, including historic buildings and nature reserves.

Education: An Taisce operates some of Ireland's most successful environmental programmes and campaigns including Green Schools and the Blue Flag awards.
