St. Christopher’s Services Housing Association (Longford)

St. Christopher’s Services Housing Association (Longford) CLG., was incorporated in February 2007 as a company limited by guarantee without a share capital under the patronage of the Co. Longford Association for the Persons with an Intellectual Disability. It's aims and objectives:

• To provide Social Housing for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in County Longford, in conjunction with the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and the Housing Department of Longford County Council
• To erect, provide, construct, build or re-furbish houses suitable to the needs of persons with an intellectual disability.
• To provide a sense of community concern and care for the housing needs of disadvantaged persons particularly persons with an intellectual disability.

The vision of St. Christopher's Housing Association (Longford) CLG. is wherever possible to provide housing that will give people a choice on where and how they want to live. St. Christopher's Housing Association is affiliated to the Irish council for Social Housing (I.C.S.H.)
