Speleological Union of Ireland

The Speleological Union of Ireland (SUI) is the all-island national governing body that represents the interests of cavers in Ireland. Our main goals are to support and develop:

• The sport of caving
• The scientific discipline of Speleology (The study of caves and various scientific sub-disciplines)
• The conservation of cave environments in Ireland and Northern Ireland

  We are recognised as the Official NGB for Caving in Ireland by Sport Ireland and in Northern ireland by Sport Northern ireland
