An Siol North West Inner City Community Development Project

An Síol is a Community Development Project (CDP) working in Stoneybatter and the North West Inner City and we have been in existence for over 25 years. We develop initiatives with local senior citizens, young people and residents. Our vision is to build a fairer community together.

Over the next 12 months we are developing long term strategies for our services and discovering how to best serve our community, join us on that journey.

Our services include:

Homework clubs: One-to-one tuition, early literacy supports and educational supports to children with special educational needs.

Meals and mini bus service: In our community Cafés we provide activities and a friendship service to senior citizens.

Advocacy: We support local residents and community groups engage with social and state services.

Welfare to Work: We provide an information service supporting people on their career journey to employment.

Community projects: We provide organisational and management supports to other community projects to help them get up and running and to thrive.
