The RISE Foundation

The RISE Foundation is focused on supporting family members of those with addictive behaviour (alcohol, drugs, gambling, food or sex addiction).

At RISE (Recovery In a Safe Environment), we are dedicated to working towards helping family members to free themselves from the stress, anxiety and worry of having a loved one with addictive behaviour and to understand the nature of addiction and the profound effects it has on relationships.

Our mission is to free Ireland through cultural change from its unhealthy relationship with alcohol and other drugs by supporting families impacted by a loved one’s addictive behaviour through awareness, education and therapy, and by combatting the associated shame and stigma.

The RISE Foundation currently runs non-residential Family Programmes in Dublin city and occasionally in a number of counties around Ireland, and a 1 to 1 Counselling Service in Dublin city with a team of experienced addiction counsellors. We provide individual and group counselling services to people adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction. These services are available to people from all communities throughout the island of Ireland.
