Right of Place Second Chance is the largest organisation supporting survivors of institutional child abuse in Ireland. We work to improve the lives of survivors and their families on their journey to healing from state and religious abuses.
We do this by providing specialist services and support to survivors and their families, through the following main services:
Outreach and drop in services
Key working supports:
Social supports
Friendly call back service:
Accommodation and repatriation
We assist roughly 1,200 survivors and family members per year, receive over 4,000 calls for information and have over 400 individuals on social events yearly.
Ultimately our core vision for the future is to create a sense of security and belonging, to give survivors a second chance for their future, having regard for the childhood they lost.
We believe this is best achieved through our people, from volunteers, to staff to our Board.
