The Red Shed is an upcoming charity in the area of Animal Welfare Education and Overseas Aid/Support for animals displaced or adversely affected by extreme hardships such as war, climate change or other emergency situations.

About The Red Shed:

The Red Shed is focusing on both Ireland and overseas in the areas of learning and development of animal care in Ireland; with a further focus on offering overseas emergency services support for the prevention or relief of suffering of animals.

Goals:

The Red Shed will exist to fulfil the needs in the following areas:

  1. Advancement of education for youths and adults in the area of animal
    welfare, animal well-being, animal rescue and emergency care across
    Ireland through a series of programs.
  2. Prevention or relief of suffering of animals who have been
    displaced due to environmental causes, conflict such as war or similar
    hardships in countries outside of Ireland.

*The Red Shed is applying for its CLG and CRA in the coming weeks. It
has already submitted documentation to CRA, had its review call and is
now awaiting set up of CLG before final submission of documentation.
Aiming for March 2023 launch.

From March 2022 - present, The Red Shed founder, Sandy Sheerin, has
been working with displaced animals from the Ukraine/Russia war
supporting shelters in food supplies, emergency vet care, evacuation,
rehoming and shelter re-structures.
