Not-For-Profit Information

Our organisation was founded in January 2016 by Barry Grant, an addiction counsellor. The organisation has been short-listed for this year's Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, Elevator Award. We are engaged in lobbying for regulation of the gambling industry in Ireland - in conjunction with the Union of Students of Ireland and the Rutland Centre. We focus predominantly on raising awareness of gambling addiction as an issue, as well as providing preventative interventions and education around problem gambling. Currently, we are the only organisation of our kind in the country, who are not funded by the gambling industry. We will always remain independent of gambling industry funding. We incorporated on December 1st 2016 and have begun our application to the Charities Regulatory Authority. We aim to operate nationally.

Our mission is to reduce gambling-related harm in Ireland. We deliver preventative, educational programmes for family members and helping professionals, as well as psychoeducational, treatment-focused programmes for problem gamblers.
