Orienteering Ireland

We are the NGB for orienteering in the Republic of Ireland, affiliated to the International Orienteering Federation. We are a largely voluntary organisation with clubs and members in many, but not all, parts of the country. Currently we have three part time workers on contract to help run the organisation. We have initiatives promoting orienteering in schools and LSPs. Our current annual income, in excess of €200k, is largely provided by Sport Ireland in response to these initiatives.

We are an unincorporated association and we are currently making the transition to a CLG, Typee B organisation.
The gender balance of our board will need to move to more female representation so we would like to have at least one, if not two, female directors to join the Board. The Board will otherwise comprise the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer of the current Executive Committee.
