Old Coolattin Country CLG t/a Carnew Training & Consultancy

Not-For-Profit Information

Local businessmen formed Carnew Training & Development Centre in 1991 to combat rural social exclusion and, “the death of small Irish towns,” (Irish Times 1989). We have grown & mutated over the years, and now our focus is as a training social enterprise. We feel this is the best route to keep Carnew vibrant. Carnew TDC is successful, delivering training in the trade skills e.g. Safe Pass & secretarial/administration. We face many challenges such as online training & the vast range of training requirements. We need to develop a smart growth strategy including funding to ensure sustainability.
