Niche Community Health Project CLG

NICHE is a Community health initiative serving Knocknaheeny, Hollyhill and surrounding areas. We aim to improve the health status and wellbeing of residents in the area by providing social interaction, therapeutic activities, community integration while also increasing awareness and information to improve health outcomes for the local community. We operate out of 2 premises, NICHE in the HSE Building on Harbour View Road where we host activities such as Women's group, chiropody, massage and choir. Our second premises is Hollyhill/Knocknaheeny Community Garden where we host gardening groups, art classes, the Men's Shed and bespoke trainings and information sessions as well as our Memory Café once a month. NICHE also supports other local organisations, such as hosting Kidscope children's clinic run by Lets Grow Together. NICHE are also the lead agency for Hollyhill Family Centre.
