Neri Clinics was set up in 2007 with a board comprising of medical and non-medical professionals, all with a common interest in developing healthcare access in Zambia. Through various associations we identified an area of need in a township on the outskirts of Lusaka called Linda compound. Joining with a local group called the Zukas Linda Community Trust we began operating a general health care clinicin February 2009. The clinic is still in operation and is well established as a local stakeholder in health. All Irish members of Neri Clinics volunteer and receive no remuneration or expenses for work in Ireland or Zambia.
