McAuley Place is a registered charity and a housing association, located in the heart of Naas Town. The organisation was formed in the year 2000 and the Board are totally voluntary with no remuneration received. There are 53 apartments, 13 located in the Convent building and 40 in a new apartment block built at the rear of the building. The criteria is to be aged 65 years or older, be capable of independent living with medical documentation to support this and having a connection to Naas is given priority to potential residents. On the premises is also and Arts and Culture Centre, Tea rooms and a Community Centre and across the road is a Charity Shop.
