Mendicity is Dublin's oldest working charity. Established over 208 years ago, Mendicity has an extensive history of supporting people experiencing homelessness and marginalization. We operate a food and day service for people experiencing homelessness, where all our services are free of charge, including:
- meals
- showers
- laundry
- hygiene packs/clothing
- WiFi & charging facilities
- access to GP healthcare
- support and adviocacy
- access to training and employment through our social eneterprise
We are open 80 hours per week across 6 days. We have 13 members of staff, and we are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors
