The Marian Centre Limited

The Marian Centre was established in 1985 as a small preschool. It has constantly grown and developed and now provides a multi-faceted service to the community. A service that is strongly recognised locally. It has 2 centres; one is in the North of Bray Town and the other in the South of the town that services large residential areas of old and new local authority housing estates. Preschool services are offered to 90 children daily. The Marian Centre provides Afterschool services (120 children) daily, in three local schools which have been designated as disadvantaged by the Dept of Education. The Marian centre also employs a total of 20 staff and receives funding from various programmes.

Currently the organisation operates the following essential, affordable and professional services in Bray.

- Preschool Sessions - Summer Camp
- Afterschool/Homework Clubs - Extended Day Programme

• To provide the highest possible standard of child care services, by helping the children to develop cognitively, socially, emotionally and physically, at their own pace, with loving care and support.
