Lourdes Day Care Centre cater to the needs of the older person living in north inner city. We offer a variety of services including but not limited to: Chiropody, assisted bathing, hairdressing, Meals on Wheels, Dining room meals, social and recreational activities etc.
We provide hot meals and offer vital services for the over 60's in the local area. Our main aim is to keep people more active both physically and mentally. We have our own wheelchair accessible minibus which allows us to bring all housebound to and from the Centre and provide a meals on wheels service 5 days a week to those who would rather eat at home. The following activities take place in the Centre: arts and crafts, knitting bingo , games, quizzes, social outings, weekends away, parties, chiropody service, hairdressing, spiritual sessions, and more.
To provide Social Recreational and community service and facilities for older persons living in the City of Dublin and particularly in the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes, Sean McDermott Street.
