Kildare Wildlife Rescue aims to rescue and rehabilitate Irish wildlife and aid in Irish wildlife conservation efforts. Its purpose is to provide a site where injured and/or orphaned Irish wildlife can receive treatment and rehabilitation according to the highest species-specific welfare standards, carry out this treatment in a way that prioritizes minimizing suffering and leads to the release of the animal into its natural habitat. KWR acts as a focal point for a network of rescuers and fosterers working with Irish wildlife and provides training in the rescue and rehabilitation of Irish wildlife. It also serves as an information point for individuals seeking information about Irish wildlife and conservation issues and promotes education about Irish wildlife and their natural habitat. KWR conducts all of its activities in ways that abide by the highest species-specific welfare standards and any legislation incumbent on these activities.
