To encourage young people to take responsibility in how they address the challenge of drugs. To provide high quality drug / alcohol education / awareness . To create self-belief and hope for a better tomorrow. To provide appropriate information referrals. To network with relevant local agencies.
Link in with the Social Personal Health Education School (SPHE) curriculum. Provide drug education to young people in Killinarden area through the SPHE school curriculum. Provide self esteem and assertiveness programmes to young people in the Killinarden area. Facilitate drugs education / awareness and prevention courses in local primary schools and interact with other groups, agencies and organisations to promote healthy attitudes.
