June Fest

June Fest was established some 10 years ago to run a Community Festival, entitled June Fest, each year celebrating Music, Arts, Culture, Nature, Sports, Heritage and other associated and related activities by hosting events in Newbridge and its hinterland.

This year Covid-19 left us with no option but to abandon our plans for the June Festival.

Instead, we have been running a variety of on-line activities to provide social interaction, entertainment, and what might be termed enlightenment for people at a time when much of our normal social life is in hibernation.

So far, we have organised quizzes, lectures, discussions, live music gigs, local history, heritage and art projects. Further projects are in the pipeline to help tide people over what is quite likely to be a relatively bleak autumn and winter, if, as anticipated, Covid continues to restrict our lives
