The Irish Thoracic Society

The Irish Thoracic Society (ITS) is the national organisation for Respiratory Healthcare Professionals on the Island of Ireland.  The Society is dedicated to leading and advancing the care of people with respiratory illness through our work in advocacy, education and research. Membership includes all disciplines of healthcare professionals and represents all stages of the care pathway.

Our work encompasses the spectrum of Respiratory Disease: Asthma; COPD; Cystic Fibrosis; Interstitial Lung Diseases; Lung Cancer; Sleep Disorders; Tuberculosis; Lower Respiratory Tract Infections, Paediatric Respiratory Disease.
