The Irish Homeless Street leagues uses the power of sport to transform the lives of individuals from underprivileged and socially excluded backgrounds. We look to engage both male and female players, usually between the ages of 16 and 40 years.
Our Homeless World Cup programmes, use football as a simple but effective tool to constructively engage individuals on a regular basis who have traditionally chaotic lifestyles with little access to sporting activities.
Our primary target groups are:
Homeless and rough sleepers;
Drug and alcohol dependant individuals in rehabilitation;
Ex-offenders;
Long- term unemployed with identified learning disabilities;
