The Irish Green Building Council

The Irish Green Building Council (IGBC) is a membership non-profit organisation that was launched in 2011. Part of a global network of national green building councils in over 75 countries, the IGBC’s membership has grown to over 450 organisations and businesses from across the value chain of the Irish built environment. It advocates, educates, communicates and provides tools for the industry to start the transformation of the built environment to operate within ecological boundaries. It currently has 23 staff including technical, advocacy, communications, accounts and office support roles.
