The Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) is Ireland's leading organisation defending human rights and civil liberties. It is independent of all state, religous and political organisations.

The ICCL's work falls into 3 main categories:
- Justice: the operation of the Justice system including police and judicial accountability
- Equality: promoting and protecting mechanisms which work to end social exclusion
- Human Rights and Democracy: the creation of a human rights culture and strengtening the quality of democracy in Ireland
