We are Innovate Communities, a leading social enterprise driving community-led innovation with and for communities.
Since 2015 we’ve been working in partnership with government, academia, business and civil society to accelerate the shift towards community-led innovation, innovation driven by everyday people pioneering new or improved solutions to combat the issues of our time. Why? Many of our contemporary and established issues are not being resolved by our traditional ways of working, so the structures holding them in place need to be improved, the systems!
Innovate Communities work to inspire communities of solvers from different backgrounds to come together to build their capacity and implement their ideas for positive social change, together. Supporting them to think differently about the system where the issue lies and enabling them, and others to carry out collective actions that will have meaningful change in their community - reimagining and reinventing.
