HHT Ireland

HHT Ireland is a Patient Organisation, set up in 2014 after the sudden & unexpected death of Paul Woods, aged 22yrs, from HHT. HHT Ireland aims to raise awareness of HHT & to provide support to families living with HHT.

HHT is a Rare Genetic Disorder of the blood-vessels and can affect many vital organs. HHT affects 1 in every 5000 people worldwide.  It is assumed there are approx. 1000 people suffering from HHT here in Ireland. 90% of HHT sufferers go undiagnosed – this has got to change!
