Headway is a not-for-profit organisation which was founded in 1985. We specialise in brain injury rehabilitation. This assists people who have been ill or injured to rebuild their skills to achieve the best quality of life they can. We also offer support to families, offer training to other professionals and carry out research.

Our aim is to bring positive change to people affected by an acquired brain injury (ABI). We have four centres in Dublin, two in Cork and one in Limerick city, with a Counsellor in Tralee and a regional Information and Support Worker in the South East. Information and support is also offered through our National Brain Injury Support service and phone line.

The services we offer provide brain injury rehabilitation and support through: Rehabilitative Training, Vocational Training, Day Services, Community Integration services, Support Groups, and Specialist Psychology Services (neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation, psychotherapy, counselling).
