The Greystones Family Resource Centre

The Greystones Family Resource Centre provides community development programmes and family support services to the wider Greystones community since its establishment in 2002. 

Vision Statement: 

To work with the local community and families through developing responses based on local needs. 

Mission Statement: 

Greystones FRC will encourage growth and development for families and the community through fostering social justice and inclusion principles. Greystones FRC will support the community to make choices to bring about positive changes in people’s lives.

We at the Greystones FRC are Child central focused and we work under the 5 national outcomes for Children and Families Strategic Framework for Family Support 2013. 

The Five outcomes are: 

1. Healthy physically, mentally and emotionally 
2.  Education Supported in active learning 
3. Safe from accidental and intentional harm; Secure in the immediate and wider physical environment 
4. Income - Economically Secure 
5. Participation; Part of positive networks of family, friends, neighbours and the community; Included and participating in society.

• Low cost counselling service for Teens and Adults 
• Low cost play therapy service for Children up 18 years
• Rainbows programme
• Domestic Violence outreach service 
• Family Support 
• Community Education programmes 
• Pilates 
• Women’s Group
• Sewing/Quilting group
• Information service
• Summer Projects 
• Family Fun Days T
• Trips for our Women’s, Summer project and Senior groups 
• Community Christmas
