Football Cooperative is a social enterprise that places recreational football as a vehicle to bring adults together with the purpose to deliver social contact for healthy ageing and promote positive mental health and community belonging.

We incorporate a consolidated network of sites that deliver weekly games through a place based model. Our vision is to increase participation through replicating our model sustainably across Ireland.

Football has long been viewed as an important medium to engage people who are seen as reluctant to access traditional health services. We plan to activate the most sedentary and excluded adults into our football community.
