Fingal Community and Recreation Services CLG

FCRS has been operating for approximately 14 years and is a subsidiary of Fingal County Council. Current Board members skills and experience includes Community Development, sports and physical activity development, community facility management and corporate affairs. The General Manager of FCRS oversees the day-to-day operations and drives the company strategic plan and manages the relationships with all the key stakeholders. The company also has two standing committees for Finance and Operations.

FCRS Objectives include:
To operate community, recreation and sports facilities under licence from Fingal County Council.
(a) To provide staff to manage new community, recreational and sports facilities.
(b) To cater for leisure, social and the recreational needs of the population of Fingal.
(c) To furnish and provide the Company’s property with such furniture, implements, machinery and conveniences as the Company may think desirable.
(d) To provide gardens, greenhouses and grounds for recreation and amusement.
(e) To raise funds and help raise funds for any charitable purpose.
(f) To provide places and facilities for curricular and extra-curricular activities for pupils of Schools of the Parish
