Festina Lente Enterprises CLG

Festina Lente, as a not for profit organisation, provides a wide range of equine and horticultural based programmes for young children, teenagers and adults from low socio economic backgrounds and/or with a disability. These programmes are delivered through programmes which are supported by Pobal, HSE and Solas. Fundraising and grant applications are also integral in the provision of programmes. Festina Lente Equestrian Centre and Walled Garden, as social enterprise models, are highly integrated with children, teenagers and adults from mainstream backgrounds actively involved in services offered. Solas programme is an on the job learning model with both HSE programmes based on HSE New Directions Policy. Festina Lente is currently engaged in a strategic planning process, a main part of which will be the relocation of all current programmes and services in 2025/6.  A new site has been purchased and full planning permission granted. A further key element of Festina Lente's strategic plan is the appointment of three new Board of Directors.
