Early Childhood Ireland

Early Childhood Ireland is the largest organisation in the early years sector. We are a not-for-profit organisation representing 3,800 childcare members, who support over 100,000 children and their families through preschool, afterschool, and full day-care provision nationwide. Our work includes quality enhancement, publications, advocacy, training, business support & information for a sector that employs 25,000 people today. Early Childhood Ireland's National Pyjama Day is the largest one-day fundraising event organised by the Early Learning and Care sector in Ireland.

Our ambitious 2021 - 2026 strategic plan sets outs our key objectives and goals over the five-year life of the plan and is underpinned by our overarching vision: that 'Every young child is thriving and learning in quality Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare in centre based and childminding settings. '
