Not-For-Profit Information

Dundalk FM is a community radio station broadcasting to 40,000 listeners each week.

It is the trading name for Dundalk Media Centre Limited which is an independent non-profit making company created in February 2002 by community group leaders who wanted to provide a community radio and TV service for the people living in the Dundalk area.

A team of ninety volunteers give their time to take part in Dundalk FM100's weekly broadcast schedule. As a non-profit limited company we were successful in applying for FÁS Social Economy and later Pobal Community Services Programme funding. From time to time we recruit people for short term media project work.

The station promotes a diversity of opinion not found on mainstream radio. We are a local service - news, entertainment updates, music, sports commentary. We are dedicated to training community groups to use the local airwaves for community development purposes.
