Dundalk Community Training Centre provides vocational training and education options to meet the needs of young people aged 16-21 from the local area who left school early or who left with
insufficient training or educational qualifications.

Our Training Programmes are designed to enhance each learner’s opportunities to learn new skills and achieve the certification necessary for progression into employment, further training or continued education. Delivering QQI levels 3, 4 & 5 in Employment Skills, Childcare and Hairdressing. We are one of the main delivery mechanisms for community raining on behalf of the Louth & Meath Educational Training Board.

The Dundalk Community Training Centre was first established in September 1985 and we were situated in the Old Boys Technical School, Dundalk. The centre then relocated to the Magnet
Cinema building after extensive renovations in April 2004. In 2016 the centre undertook a new modification programme, to improve and extend the facilities and programmes on offer.

The Centre has also been approved for City & Guilds Hairdressing Awards. The Dundalk CTC currently has 56 trainees participating in our training programmes.
