Not-For-Profit Information

Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride advocates for the equal rights of LGBTQI+ people, both locally and internationally by raising public awareness of discrimination in society and issues affecting the lives of LGBTQI+ people through events, such as our famous Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride Festival & Parade and other activities through the year.

As the Festival has grown over the last decade, so has the scale of operations. In 2019 we finally moved from being an entirely volunteer-led organisation to hiring a small core staff, which is supported by a loyal volunteer corps during the Festival and other events.

In 2019 the Board also commissioned a consultant to work with us on a governance review to ensure our evolution includes all the measures necessary to be fully compliant with governance best practice.  As part of that process we have committed to enlarging and upskilling our volunteer Board.

We are looking for potential candidates who are passionate about LGBTQI+ equality, who may enjoy a huge party (although that is not obligatory!) and who are willing to share their expertise in the following areas: Human Resources, Finance, and Governance/Legal.
