Our Story
The Mill opened its doors to startup’s in 2014 and has since become the main Hub for the accelerated creation & growth of healthy new enterprises in the South Louth, East Meath and wider Drogheda area region. It currently houses close to 50 companies ranging from startup’s to emergent FDI's.
In May 2024, The Mill celebrated its 10th Birthday and released its 10 Year Economic Impact Report, compiled by by economist Dr. Pat McCloughan of PMCA Economic Consulting. The findings highlighted The Mill's economic impact, by contributing over €228M in Gross Value Add (GVA) over the ten years, contributing over €45.2M in GVA in 2023 alone and supporting 318 jobs as well as generating €6.4m to the Irish Tax Exchequer in 2023.
The Mill is the north east regional partner for Skillnet's Innovation Exchange which plays a key role is connecting technology SME's with large corporations for digital and technology transformation projects.
Our supports include training, mentoring, access to subsidised office space, sign-posting to sources of finance, being part of a ‘can do’ community – all provided in a friendly, helpful and thoughtful environment.
