DINIT is a beautiful Irish word meaning dignity, a global fundamental human right too often denied to millions of people.
DINIT provides the human resources for the international humanitarian and development aid sector. We believe that dignity is a fundamental human right and our aid is provided without prejudice and on a voluntary, no fee attached basis.
We were established in late 2014 and our aim is to empower people to regain their dignity by providing experts to communities in an array of professions to support organisations and to provide timely assistance to those in need in areas of natural or man-made disaster and conflict. We are committed to the care and support of communities and we aim to deliver high quality, professional and compassionate assistance at all times.
Our working objective is to liaise with communities and relevant agencies to assess the necessary requirements and provide volunteers with expertise in those areas to assist community empowerment through restoring dignity in the short term, medium term and long term, not because it makes us feel good, but because it is every human beings fundamental right
