CRY Ireland (Cardiac Risk in the Young) was founded in March 2002 by parents who had experienced the effects of sudden and unexplained death within their families.  CRY Ireland is a self-supporting registered charity, and all services are provided free of charge.

CRY Ireland is committed  to raising awareness about sudden cardiac death, supporting individuals and families impacted by the sudden cardiac death of a young person and those living with a diagnosis of an inherited cardiac condition.

CRY Ireland’s mission is to provide emotional support services and facilitate access to screening, supporting research and awareness initiatives for people across the island of Ireland.

As a self-funded charity CRY Ireland depends solely on donations from individuals, communities and organisations.
