Croí na Gaillimhe (CNG) is part of the work of St Vincent de Paul.  The mission of the society is to fight poverty in all its forms through direct contact with people in need; Providing immediate practical assistance; offering support and friendship; fostering self-sufficiency and working for social justice.  CNG was established in 2009 and is based in Galway City.  CNG works with 3 groups of people at risk of poverty- older people living alone, adults with low education attainment; asylum seekers, migrants and their children. CNG provides lunch's and social clubs, intergenerational programmes, homework club based in 2 Direct Provision Centres, extracurricular activities for children,  classes for adults, english language support and support for asylum seekers with their interview process.
